This is an official Japanese promotional card featuring Tony Tony Chopper and Kumamon, the official PR mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture. Following the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of ONE PIECE and a native of Kumamoto Prefecture, sent the following message to Kumamoto: “I will definitely come to help.” This message inspired the launch of the official ONE PIECE Kumamoto Reconstruction Project, a collaboration between Kumamoto Prefecture and ONE PIECE. As part of the project, bronze statues of all ten members of the Straw Hat Pirates have been installed at various locations throughout Kumamoto Prefecture, making Kumamoto a special destination for ONE PIECE fans from around the world. This card is part of the Premium Card Collection – Kumamoto Prefecture Special, released to commemorate this collaboration with Kumamoto. The card has been professionally graded ARS 10 by the Japanese grading company ARS. Although the card has received an ARS 10 grade, please note that the grading holder may have very minor scratches or scuffs dating from the manufacturing process.
