Antikkens Rom, Imperie Bronze Ring - 3. til 5. århundrede e.Kr. (Ingen mindstepris)

Roman Bronze Signet Ring – 3rd to 5th Century AD A cast bronze signet ring featuring a solid circular hoop that gradually expands into broad shoulders supporting a slightly raised oval bezel. The bezel is now heavily worn, with its original engraved design lost through centuries of use and mineralisation, although it was likely intended to function as a simple personal signet. The ring displays the robust proportions and restrained form commonly associated with Late Roman bronze finger rings used for everyday wear. A well-developed light green and brown archaeological patina, together with surface encrustations and wear, attests to its considerable age. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 2.4 × 1.9 cm Weight: 5.62 g Provenance: Acquired in Germany. From a German private collection assembled during the 80’s.
