A delightful 18th century Chinese export porcelain jug with perpendicular handle in the style of a chocolate pot, measuring circa 17cm in height including its lid and weighing 377g, decorated in Imari enamels to depict a floral pattern of blossoming chrysanthemum and peony shrubs, the cover adorned with a sculpted peach.
Condition: Handle re-stuck, cracks to spout, rim fritting, see pictures. Minor wear.
