This watch features the famous DS system, which uses a thick, shock-absorbing rubber ring inside the case to protect the movement from impacts. At the heart of this watch is the highly regarded 25-jewel Certina Caliber 919-1 automatic movement, renowned for its reliability and precision. This is one of the last genuine factory-made movements from Certina. The watch features a beautiful and highly desirable dark blue dial that contrasts perfectly with the sturdy stainless steel "C" shaped case. It retains its original Certina signed crown. The caseback displays the legendary embossed DS logo and factory engravings in excellent condition. Condition Description: Movement: In full working order, running and keeping time. Case and Glass: The stainless steel case is unpolished with fair signs of wear (fine scratches) that maintain its vintage authenticity. The plexiglass has some minor surface scratches.
