It’s your party, be alone if you wish Andrew Krysciak, 2025 Fabric, metal, wood, plastic 52 x 52 x 80 cm This piece is part of a series of twelve chairs from PANOBJCT’s 2025 collection. Designer Andrew Krysciak transforms broken, discarded, and forgotten furniture and materials into works of art. Each piece is designed to spark conversation, challenge conventions, and expand our understanding of furniture. Libra, which attracts and charms throughout the year, has only one wish to make on its birthday: to find the right balance to decide which foot to dance on. This chair was reworked using the legs of a small stool and the body of an armchair. Its upholstery is made from a secondhand puffy pink jacket, zippers, a pair of blue corduroy jeans found on the street, and ribbons. I imagine a Libra showing up at a party in an outfit made from these same fabrics, only to end up jealous that the chair wears it better than she does.
