The ELNIX series represents an interesting transitional period in Seiko’s history, combining traditional mechanical watchmaking architecture with an electronically regulated movement. The lightning-bolt symbol on the dial is a distinctive feature of the ELNIX line. The stainless steel case has a sharp vintage design with angular lugs, giving the watch a strong 1970s character. The case measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, making it suitable for a wide range of wrists. The watch is fitted with a new aftermarket black leather strap. The dial is in attractive vintage condition and remains clean and highly legible. The case shows scratches, small marks and signs of wear consistent with its age, particularly around the lower lugs and case back. The case back also shows scratches and minor oxidation/discoloration in some areas. The day-date display is present and functioning as shown in the photographs. Quick-set operation has not been separately confirmed. A new aftermarket black leather strap has been fitted. Please note that the gold-tone buckle is aftermarket.
