​First things first: I am clearly a much better painter than I am a photographer. I gave it my absolute all, tried every angle, and fought with the lighting—so please forgive any glare! Trust me, it looks much better in real life than my photography skills suggest.

This powerful and emotionally raw composition depicts a dramatic "scene of jealousy." The artwork features five stylized figures, rendered in a striking contemporary Cubist and Expressionist style that blends fragmented forms with intense emotional expression.
​The central narrative is a profound exploration of human torment. The complex arrangement of figures centers on a central male figure in a red cap who appears to be interacting with other characters, possibly fueling the underlying conflict. In a shocking and visceral moment, a woman on the right, facing away and partially obscured, is shown tragically cutting her own wrist, an act that underscores the devastating emotional toll of jealousy and internal distress within the social dynamic. The fragmented, abstracted forms and distorted perspective enhance the sense of fracture, instability, and psychological turmoil that defines the entire piece. The contrasting colors, ranging from muted ochres and greens to dramatic black and red, reflect the emotional spectrum of the scene—from despair to anger.
