Keifu 系譜(けいふ)|Kuroyanagi Masataka 黒柳正孝(くろやなぎまさたか)
Within the two-dimensional jet-black surface, wave-like swells and fluid forms are arranged through gradations of light. The artist describes it as "a figurative expression that accepts light within the darkness and stands still," capturing the moment when forms (genealogy) are created from an endless abyss. This copperplate print work, composed of countless "lines," demonstrates superb technique that magnificently expresses the different textures of cloth and walnut.
