The Collection is a celebration of The Macallan's commitment to Natural Colour and Sherry Seasoning. The Colour Collection 21 Years Old showcases whisky that has been aged in American oak casks, beautifully enhanced by a delicate addition of European oak.

Artist and Graphic Designer David Carson har bragt fadets indflydelse i forgrunden gennem en række rige brune nuancer, der vækker træet og dets ristede, karamelliserede smagsnuancer, med et strejf af krydderi.
In this organic yet balanced composition, colours, pattern and textures juxtapose each other, creating a sense of the whisky’s complex yet balanced profile.
Amongst the splashes of colour, we can pick out chocolate browns, orange and reddish brown hues that reflect the whisky’s tasting notes of warm spice, vanilla pods and chocolate orange, and a bright yellow reminiscent of the notes of cardamom and candied ginger it leaves on the palate."
