Les Onglés comes from mature Chenin vines planted on schist soils. Fermentation and ageing on the lees give the wine remarkable texture, depth and complexity, while maintaining the freshness and precision that make Bernaudeau's wines so distinctive. Production is extremely limited and demand for Bernaudeau's wines far exceeds availability. Les Onglés is one of the domaine's signature wines and has become increasingly difficult to find. Les Onglés is a powerful yet beautifully balanced wine, combining remarkable concentration and texture with freshness, minerality and length. Expect layers of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, spice and waxy richness, underpinned by the pronounced schist-derived minerality for which Bernaudeau’s wines are renowned.
