USA, The Remembrance Collection – 12 Colourised JFK Half Dollars, 2004–2015 A collection of twelve American Kennedy half dollars commemorating the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. The collection comprises four annual sets—2004, 2005, 2014 and 2015—each containing three different colourised designs: New York District of Columbia Pennsylvania The designs combine the seals of the three locations with a representation of the Twin Towers. The regular half-dollar reverse, featuring the Presidential Seal, remains visible on the other side. According to the accompanying certificates, the coins are heavily silver-plated and provided with a unique colourised finish. Each annual set was issued in a limited edition of 250 sets.
