Beautiful set of two large lounge armchairs in genuine ivory leather with dark brown stained wood, featuring an architectural design strongly inspired by the Art Deco style.

The two armchairs offer a particularly generous and elegant construction, characterized by wide rectilinear dark wood armrests that extend to the base and contrast with the ivory leather upholstery.

The sides and back are fully covered in leather and show remarkable upholstery work, with assembled panels, piping and topstitching. The back and armchair cushions are removable. The cushions are padded with foam and wadding and have zippers.

The genuine leather has a beautiful grain and a pleasant patina developed over time. The ensemble offers a deep, generous and especially comfortable seating.

Their design evokes the Art Deco and “ocean liner” vocabulary, reinterpretated in European furniture of the second half of the 20th century. The manufacture appears of good quality. No stamp, number, label or hallmark was found, so the manufacturer and designer cannot be identified with certainty.

Condition: good overall given the age. The leather shows natural patina, some folds, slight color variations and signs of use. The wooden elements show scratches, wear and localized wear of the finish, particularly on the armrests and the lower part. No major leather tears or structural damage detected.
