History
Introduced in the mid-20th century, the Genève line was created by Omega to honor the city of Geneva and its rigorous watchmaking standards. By the 1970s, the Genève collection represented a significant portion of Omega's catalog, offering elegant and reliable timepieces for everyday wear. The caliber 1030 is a respected mechanical movement from this era, known for its precision and durability. This 1972 example represents the clean design language and dependable engineering that made the Genève series a staple of 1970s Swiss horology.
