Rare lot of three historic bottles of Barolo DOC, produced by Poderi Aldo Conterno, Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont, Italy.

The lot comprises three different vintages:

* Barolo 1958
* Barolo 1961
* Barolo 1964

All three bottles are historic original bottlings, featuring their original labels, capsules and vintage markings. The bottles are in good overall condition considering their considerable age, with some expected signs of ageing and wear to the labels.

The 1958 and 1961 bottles show good overall external condition for wines of this age.

Important condition note – 1964 vintage: the wine inside the 1964 bottle appears noticeably light/pale in colour. Due to this visible deterioration and the considerable age of the wine, drinkability and organoleptic condition cannot be guaranteed. This bottle is therefore offered primarily as a historic collector’s item, rather than with any guarantee of drinkability.
