About the artist...
Quiona Ribes is en urban artist born in Spain in 1987. It was in Valencia where her interest in urban art was born and she conducts pictorial experiments inspired by street art and painters from the late 20th century. This is how she begins to develop her own style.
Subsequently she moves to Barcelona to continue her architecture studies, but a year later decides to set aside the profession of architect and thus study Arts Applied to the Wall and subsequently graduate in History of Art.
Her work, initially impressionist, now offers a singular and attractive vision where she tends to use a poetic language related to current events, art history and graffiti. She is known for her works made with the urban stencil technique and began to be inspired by artists in the scene such as Banksy, Martin Whatson, Keith Haring, Pichiavo, Okuda, Mr.Brainwash, Vhils and other classics like Leonardo Da Vinci, El Greco or Velázquez.
In recent years she has focused on urban art which has enabled her to become today one of the leading women in the sector.
