ANCIENT CODE Ancient Code is an original, one of a kind mixed media artwork by MATCH, created in 2026. This is not a print or reproduction. The artwork is 100% hand painted and made by the artist. The painting presents a mysterious humanoid figure surrounded by geometric forms and graphic marks. The character has an unfamiliar appearance, somewhere between a human figure and an unknown entity. The title refers to the idea of ancient knowledge, encoded information and an unknown origin. Rather than representing a specific historical or mythological figure, the character is intentionally left open to interpretation. The strong green background and dark graphic elements create a distinctive visual contrast, while the combination of acrylic paint and marker gives the piece a direct and contemporary visual language. The piece is part of MATCH's slow art practice, with the artwork developed and finished entirely by hand rather than produced as a print or mass-produced image.
