Hverdagsantikviteter

An authentic Beaumont steel cash box dating to circa 1930, combining robust construction with elegant handcrafted decoration. Manufactured from steel, this rare example features finely engraved linear borders and distinctive punched decorative motifs across the front, sides and lid, showcasing the craftsmanship associated with early Beaumont security boxes.

The interior retains its attractive original red finish, providing a striking contrast with the aged steel exterior. The cash box is complete with its original key, and the lock operates smoothly.

The untouched patina, light oxidation and signs of honest use emphasize its originality and over a century of history. The good condition and quality, complete with the original key and decorative finish, is becoming increasingly difficult to find and are highly desirable among collectors of antique cash boxes, early security objects and industrial design.
