Tilstand:
Generelt god tilstand, med farvernes friskhed bevaret. Bemærkes to små skår i glazuren ved den øverste kant og en mindre skål på den groteske maske, synlige på billederne, i overensstemmelse med alder og brug. Ingen gennemgående revner, ingen invasiv restaurering. Patina fra perioden intakt.
Oprindelse: Privat ligurisk samling, købt hos en familie oprindeligt fra Savona.
Et vigtigt dekorativt stykke, perfekt til en samling af liguriske keramikken, Liberty-inretning eller som vase til et midtstykke i klassisk stil.

• Shape: Ovoid pharmacy / display vase, with bell-shaped foot and flared mushroom rim
• Sculptural elements: Double zoomorphic handles in the shape of a serpent / dragon with detailed scales and a grotesque mask in high relief on the front
• Bifacial pictorial decoration:
Side A: Mythological istoriato scene with Neptune / Triton with putti and sea monster
Side B: Idealized Ligurian landscape with towered village, bridge, cypress trees and birds in flight
• Height: approx. 32 cm
• Mouth diameter: approx. 16 cm
Condition:
Good overall condition, with vivid colors preserved. Two small chips to the enamel on the upper rim and a minor chip on the grotesque mask are noted, visible in photos, consistent with age and use. No through-cracks, no invasive restoration. Original period patina intact.
Provenance: Private Ligurian collection, purchased from a family originally from Savona.
