Oreste Stefano, Barolo "Perno" 2018
Producent: Broccardo
Vin: Barolo "Perno"
Årgang: 2018
Antal flasker: 6
Størrelse: 0,75 l
Druer: 100% Nebbiolo
Modning: Til modningen anvendes kun store, gamle slavonske egetræsfade, hvori vinen modner i 18 måneder.
Alkohol: 14,5%
The 2014 "Perno" by Oreste Stefano is a Barolo crafted in the classic, traditional style of the Langhe region, made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the Perno cru in Monforte d'Alba. Stefano employs exclusively spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts without temperature control and ages the wine for 18 months in large, old Slavonian oak casks. In the glass, the 2014 Barolo Perno displays a ruby-red color with garnet highlights, while the nose reveals aromas of violets, raspberries, and tobacco. On the palate, it is structured yet elegant, defined by silky tannins that make it enjoyable even in its youth, though it will reach its full potential after a few years of further aging.
