Beskrivelse fra sælger
Charming and very original Neoclassical-style mantel garniture complete with an exposed pendulum table clock and its pair of matching four-light candlesticks
The set is entirely crafted in brass and work with a superb two-tone finish, aged silver patina and gold, on an elegant white veined marble base.
• Clock: Rests on a white marble plateau enshrined in an openwork brass mount with mascaron and scrolling decor. The central clock is framed by a duo of bronze figurines depicted in 18th-century attire (a gallant lady and a gentleman). The dial depicts a romantic landscape scene with a fountain. A gilded pendulum hangs at the front under a Ribbon knot.
• Candlesticks: Pair of four-light bronze candlesticks (3 scroll arms + 1 central bud in a corolla) on quadripod bases adorned with foliate motifs.
Technical specifications & dimensions
• Materials: Bronze (silvered and gilded patina), white veined marble.
• Clock (Horloge): 43 cm (height) x 32 cm (width)
• Candlesticks (x2): 35 cm (height) x 21 cm (width) | Weight: 2.10 kg per unit
• Total weight of candlesticks: 4.20 kg
• Condition: Very good overall aesthetic condition. Beautiful preservation of the two-tone patina on the bronze and the marble. Clean appearance of the mechanism.
