VITYRA - 滲珠

滲珠 Indigo, clay, charcoal and terre verte on canvas 100cm x 140cm (39 inches x 55 inches) 滲珠 (Shinshu) — meaning “Bleeding Pearl” in Japanese — is an invocation of emergence, the fragile moment when light seeps through matter and memory into form. In this work, contemporary artist VITYRA captures the quiet alchemy between depth and dissolution, where the boundary between surface and essence begins to blur. Measuring 100 × 140 cm, the painting is composed of indigo, clay, charcoal, and terre verte on canvas. A central bloom of deep blue expands outward, its edges soft and diffused, as if exhaled through water. The pigments pool and disperse in translucent gradients — the heart dark and unfathomable, the periphery tender, like the pulse of something living beneath the veil of stillness. 滲珠 contemplates the act of becoming — how beauty arises not from clarity but from seepage, from what cannot contain itself. It evokes the slow breath of the ocean, the iris of an unseen eye, or a pearl forming in darkness. As with all of VITYRA’s works, it belongs to the philosophy of wabi-sabi — an honoring of impermanence, erosion, and the dignity of what remains half-formed. 滲珠 is not the pearl itself, but the trace it leaves in silence — the shimmer that lingers after light has withdrawn. This original painting by VITYRA is discreetly hand-signed on the reverse side to preserve the purity of the artwork’s surface and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. VITYRA is represented by S-Gallery, a well-known gallery for Viennese boundary-pushing contemporary artists. The artwork will be shipped rolled in a secure, protective tube—an eco-friendly and safe method that reduces shipping costs and risk of damage. The canvas measures 100 x 140 cm, with an extra 5 cm border on each side for easy re-stretching. Frame placement is lightly marked on the back to assist precise mounting.
