I have been a collector all my life. As a boy in Japan, I fell in love with American vintage clothing and European antique furniture — and later ran my own furniture business, where I trained my eye for craftsmanship, materials, and condition. In recent years, my passion has turned to the antiques of my own country: Japanese lacquerware, ironware, and traditional crafts. Now I select pieces I would want in my own collection and ship them directly from Japan to collectors worldwide. Based in Tokyo, I describe every item honestly, photograph flaws as carefully as highlights, and pack each piece with the utmost care. All shipments include international tracking.
