In 1981, Mas Martinet was 'born', a life project and a dream that became reality. It is the fruit of Josep Lluís Pérez and Montse Ovejero's passion for knowledge, for the method... And it is transference, generational change, continuity, perseverance... Back and forth. Josep Lluís, Montse, Sara, Núria, Adrià, Marc, Jordi, Armando, Pilar... the whole family involved in the project, together with a great team (humanity/mentality) makes Mas Martinet a sustainable, human and drinkable project.

'Clos Martinet' is the Priorat of the 80s. The wine of those who believed in terroir and put all their efforts into taking care of the process and the form... It is the wine of the previous generation.

Different varieties of different orientations and locations. It goes through cement tanks, demijohns, French oak barrels, foudres, and clay pots to understand its full complexity.
 
The Mas Martinet "Clos Martinet" 2019 is a stunning example of the depth and elegance that define the best wines of Priorat. This is a complex, age-worthy red wine that embodies the region's rugged beauty and unique terroir. It's fun to decant now and has the structure to evolve beautifully over the next decade or more. It pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb, roasted venison, or hearty stews, but it's also a wine worth enjoying on its own for its intricate layers.
