With his love of marketing, design and travel, it was no surprise that Juan found himself drawn to vintage travel and transportation posters. Juan’s journey to becoming an expert in posters began when he saw David Klein’s Jet-Set age posters. He then started his own blog where he paired vintage travel posters with the trips he took. Soon after that, he was commissioned to write a book, quickly becoming a sought-after poster aficionado and went on to work at the prestigious Spanish auction house Balclis. Since joining Catawiki in 2021, Juan has been thrilled to encounter and research new vintage posters on a daily basis. Just recently, he was able to appraise two posters from David Klein, the artist who set Juan on the road to becoming an expert. He looks forward to discovering many more of the world’s most remarkable posters.
