Beautiful wooden African mask from the Sénoufo ethnic group of Ivory Coast.

The Poro society is fundamental to the cohesion of the tribe. From the age of 7, the Sénoufo are initiated and educated. The Sénoufo use different types of masks depending on the occasion.
