Gilded double bronze inkstand from the 19th century in the Napoleon III style. Model with rich decoration of floral motifs, scrolls, and stylized foliage in relief. Two backrests with Renaissance-style grotesques. The beaded border is adorned with griffins, and the whole is topped with two inkwells that open to intact glass cups, with covers decorated with a lyre and acanthus leaves. Well-crafted work.
