Roman bronze oil lamp dating to the early Roman Empire (1st century CE), with a circular base, elongated spout ending in a circular mouth, a central moulded hole, a circular rear retaining ring, 8.9 cm long by 3.6 cm wide, dark green patina, and in excellent condition with no restoration.

Elegant antique bronze lamp resting on a circular base.
The beak is elongated, with a curved shape, ending in a circular mouthpiece.
Large central molded hole. At the back, a circular retaining ring.
Date: Roman Empire, around the 1st century AD.
Length 8.9 cm - width 3.6 cm - Bronze with dark green patina.
Excellent condition - no restoration
Provenance information: Germany, Galerie H.G.R.
Previous provenance: important private Germanic collection of Roman and Gallo-Roman archaeology.
