Ouchebti with a ventral column of hieroglyphic inscription in relief, a blue‑green glazed ceramic shabti in a mummy‑form with a tripartite wig, dating to the Late Period (664–332 BC), XXVI–XXXI Dynasty, about 11.4 cm tall and in good condition, acquired from Germany in 2023 with Provenance from a private collection in Frankfurt and previously from France.
Description from the seller
Oushebti / Shabti in ceramic with blue-green glaze, featuring a column of hieroglyphic inscription on the dorsal side in relief.
Figurine momiforme, wearing a tripartite wig. The arms are molded, crossed on the chest, with hands holding a pair of hoes. At the back, a grain sack is on the back with hatching.
The figurine features a ventral inscription of hieroglyphs in relief of an excerpt from chapter VI of the book.
