Description from the seller
Cloisonné collection consisting of 2 pairs of Chinese vases and 2 smaller jars.
Zi Jin Cheng (紫禁城) means 'Forbidden City' in Chinese and primarily refers to a brand of vintage cloisonné ceramics and art objects produced in China, often dating back to the mid-20th century (the 1950s-1970s). These items are made of brass with colorful enamels (cloisonné) and are known for their intricate designs of flowers, dragons, and classic motifs. They are highly valued as collectible and decorative objects.
Refined floral decoration in shades from red to pink on a beige/light brown background.
Really very beautiful and in generally optimal vintage condition as shown in the photo.
Craftsmanship: Items marked in this way are characterized by the cloisonné technique, an ancient art that involves using copper wires to create small compartments (cloisons) filled with colored enamels on a brass support, then fired and polished.
Period: Many pieces are from the mid-century era (1950s to 1970s) and are considered collectible vintage objects.
The traceable shipment will be handed over to the courier or the designated postal authority.
Note: We are not responsible for any customs duties.
If, upon purchase, the shipment is to a country where the cost is significantly higher than the amount requested in the listing, the winning bidder will be notified and may either pay the additional cost or withdraw from the purchase.
