Description from the seller

Unique set of 10 Liberal Arts Educations panels from the Art Deco period, by hand sculpted allegorical figures from oak in bas-relief. Around 1920/1930.

These panels are very special and carry a great deal of history with them, an unseen set of very unique craftsmanship, which the Art Deco period once was, is visible in each panel.

The all have exactly the same size and measures 54 x 85 cm, a thickness of approximately 6 cm.
one panel weighs approximately 7.5 kg

When you hang the panels in two rows of 5 panels next to each other, as shown in the photo series, they measure approximately H 175 x L 285 cm. Beautiful whole.

Each panel is unique and sculpted by hand, finely crafted with an eye for detail. The Latin inscription is always very well executed, the wood carving is carried out on all ten panels without a single mistake, the special font and the creative execution indicate that they were created by a good hand.

The panels are in good condition, the wood is still in excellent condition, the Philosophia panel has a different base layer and differs in color, here they wanted to remove the lacquer layer.
