The BeoLab 2 speaker is the ideal subwoofer when you need the extra dimension that music and movies can provide through low tones. Both classical and modern music gain a new dimension when you add a subwoofer to your setup. The biggest benefit is really with movies. A solid surround sound system offers much more depth than two stereo speakers. Movies are recorded in such a way that the sound is beautifully distributed to each individual channel.
