Set of 3 large restored Spinosaurus aegyptiacus dinosaur teeth from the Upper Cretaceous Cenomanian Kem Kem beds in Morocco.
Description from the seller
Scientific name: Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Location: Taouz, South Morocco
Geological Formation: Ifezouane Fm - KemKem Red Sandstone Beds
Age: Upper Cretaceous, Cenomanian stage ( 96 million years)
Size (The Biggest): 11 cm
Ref: S310
Observations: These are 3 teeth of large length. However, they have several restorations along fractures they suffered during excavation. These restorations basically consist of filling the fractures. Part of the root of the teeth appears to be partially composited with the rest of the root of another tooth. This is a typical technique used by local excavators to restore teeth. Whatever the case, it is a good authentic example of the amazing dentition of this huge piscivorous dinosaur that reigned during the Cretaceous period in the ecosystems of what is now North Africa.
All our fossils come with Certificate of Authenticity. Every week, the issued Certificates of Authenticity are updated in our website database verification system. If you find that your certificate has not yet been updated, please contact us and we will update it immediately. Display box not included. If you need a display box, contact us and we will provide you with the extra costs.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION: All shipments to the U.S. are made via UPS Express. We are not responsible for any additional customs duties that U.S. Customs may apply, such as import taxes, on the declared commercial value.
