Description from the seller
I am offering this Le Creuset skillet from the 1960s, notable for its stunning volcanic orange enamel with a subtle gradient ranging from orange to red, an iconic and highly sought-after finish from that period. The interior is coated in gray enamel, typical of the brand's vintage productions.
The pan shows visible signs of use in the bottom of the bowl, as well as some diffuse chips, consistent with its age and use. Also noteworthy: a very small chip about 1 mm in size located on the corner of the spout, on the lower part (see photos).
These defects remain limited and do not affect the solidity or cooking qualities of the piece, which remains very pleasant both in use and presentation.

About Le Creuset – Productions from the 1960s
The 1960s marked a pivotal period for Le Creuset, both in terms of the quality of its cast iron and the intensity and depth of its colors. Pieces from this era are particularly valued for their durability, aesthetic appeal, and ability to maintain excellent culinary performance despite the decades.
The advantages of enameled cast iron.
Enameled cast iron offers even heat distribution and excellent thermal inertia, making it ideal for searing, simmering, or oven cooking. Designed to last, these pans pass through generations and often become family heirlooms, filled with culinary memories.
This Le Creuset skillet combines performance, vintage aesthetics, and authenticity, making it a piece that is as functional as it is decorative.
Protective and careful shipping
