Description from the seller
Æ (XX–XXI) – “Ninjago: Shadows of the Shogun” (Triptych X3)
Hand-painted, signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity
Æ’s monochrome triptych reinterprets LEGO Ninjago through the lens of Japanese tradition — blending pop culture with the quiet strength of bushidō. From the dragon-clad warrior before Mount Fuji to the serene sensei in the fields, each panel reflects a stage of mastery: courage, unity, and wisdom.
Hand-finished with spray paint, pastel layers, and subtle surface erosion, the works merge the clarity of manga composition with the harmony of ukiyo-e aesthetics. Æ’s minimal yet emotive style transforms these small figures into timeless symbols of discipline and spirit.
Limited edition of 10 sets worldwide, each hand-signed and numbered — a rare treasure for LEGO and contemporary art collectors.
