Targetti Sankey - Ettore Sottsass - Table lamp - Steel - Palmtree Caribe

The fashion brand Fiorucci has enlisted Italy's most sought-after architects to design the interiors of its stores, including Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi, and Franco Marabelli. This Palmtree Caribe table lamp is one of the decorative attributes specifically designed for Fiorucci stores, produced in the 1980s by the Italian company Targetti Sankey. This hard-to-find lamp showcases a playful combination of materials and design. The power supply, trunk, and lampshade are made of metal with varying thicknesses.

From my private collection, heavy basic structure, body and diffusers with the typical 'palm' shape, approximately 92 cm high, leaf width 36 cm, features the Targetti label inside (see photo).
