Upper Cretaceous – Morocco
55 cm long x 7 cm wide.
Exceptional original fossil jaw of a mosasaur (Family Mosasauridae), from the renowned marine deposits of the Late Cretaceous of Morocco (approximately 70 million years ago). It is presented as a complete, authentic piece with notable preservation quality, of high interest both scientifically and for collectors.
The piece maintains a clear alignment of functional conical, robust, and well-implanted teeth. Of particular relevance is the visible presence of developing replacement teeth, emerging laterally from inside the bone, a feature rarely seen in the market that exceptionally documents the process of polyphiodontia characteristic of mosasaurs.
