Kartell red polypropylene chairs (model 4875) designed by Carlo Bartoli from the Italian Space Age period 1970–1980; four chairs, dimensions 44 cm wide, 48 cm deep, 72 cm high with a 43 cm seat height, in good vintage condition with minor wear and some discoloration, legs disassembled for shipment.
Description from the seller
Lotto 5 out of 5 (4 seats) check my other bets for other similar seats.
Shipping discount for multiple purchases to be agreed upon with the buyer based on the destination of the goods.
Four Kartell model 4875 chairs made of red plastic from the Italian Space Age period.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, although they show some signs of age, wear, and scratches. They still have the original anti-slip pads under the legs (see the penultimate photo).
The marks are visible when held up to the light and are difficult to show in the photos (which are an integral part of the description).
The major defects have been highlighted by specific photos, with some discoloration points noted.
Marked under the seat to confirm authenticity (see last photo).
The chairs also have an archive catalog sticker underneath the seat (see photo), and they probably originate from an Italian state institutional building.
Designed by Carlo Bartoli, an Italian architect and designer born in Milan in 1931 and awarded the Compasso d'Oro ADI for his career
Bartoli was the creator of many successful works, including the Gaia armchair, included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Milan Triennale.
CAD dimensions of the chair: width 44cm, depth 48cm, height 72cm, seat height 43cm
For convenience and safety, they will be shipped with the legs disassembled. They can be screwed in and out by hand without tools.
They will be well packed. Tracked shipping. Extra-EU customs duties at the buyer's expense.
Note: After purchase, Italian buyers will be asked for their tax identification number for billing purposes via Catawiki messaging.
