Description from the seller

The Bofinger chair, also known as BA 1171, was designed by architect and designer Helmut Bätzner in 1964 and further developed in close collaboration with the Bofinger company based in Ilsfeld, Baden-Württemberg, led by Rudolf Baresel-Bofinger, into the world's first plastic chair to be mass-produced in a press molding process.
Dye-colored, glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin was used as the material during manufacturing.
