Description from the seller
Richard Ginori – MONDOVÌ – Set of 6 plates (22–24 cm) – Very rare hand decoration – 1950s/1960s
Magnificent set of 6 plates (three flat, three soup plates) from the Richard Ginori Mondovì line, in one of the rarest and most sought-after decorations of the production.
This is authentic Mondovì ceramic decorated entirely by hand, as confirmed by the original stamp: “Richard Ginori – Mondovì – Hand Decorated – Unalterable – Selection 6-7”.
The drawing is iconic and typical of the artist's production of the mid-twentieth century:
brushstroke olive green center, surrounded by dotted motifs and circular lines in brown and green, up to the edge with the characteristic alternation of stylized petals and polka dots, one of the most sought-after patterns by Mondovì collectors.
The input is a dash character, which does not require translation.
