Description from the seller

➜ This finely crafted stone stela depicts the ancient Egyptian god Seth and the official Aapehty, inspired by an original piece from the 19th Dynasty (reign of Sety II), now housed in the British Museum.

Seth, identifiable by his distinctive animal head, stands on the left holding the was-scepter, symbol of divine power and authority. On the right, Aapehty, believed to have served as deputy to the chief workman Paneb, raises his hands in adoration toward the god.

The surface displays subtle age-style wear, earthy tones, and delicate hand-painted details that recreate the authentic look of an ancient limestone stela.
A beautiful collector’s replica that brings the iconography of New Kingdom Egypt into modern display.

➜ Why You’ll Love It:

• Solid stone construction with detailed carving and painted reliefs

• Depicts Seth, god of strength, chaos, and protection, with symbolic was-scepter

• Features Aapehty, the devoted official shown in a gesture of reverence

• Inspired by an authentic British Museum piece from Sety II’s reign

• Earthy terracotta and faded pigment tones evoke genuine antiquity

• Flat back and arched top—ideal for shelf display

• A museum-style collector’s item that celebrates the artistry of Egypt’s 19th Dynasty

➜ Don’t Miss Out
Add this timeless symbol of devotion and divine authority to your collection—a stunning link between ancient craftsmanship and modern appreciation.
