Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC W126 from 1986, 278,000 km, located in Estonia, automatic petrol, matching numbers and colours, full service history, valid MOT to 2026, CoC present, body and interior refurbished with red exterior and grey leather, very good mechanical condition and frame/undercarriage without rust, anti-corrosion wax applied, transmission serviced with new oil pan, sunroof/cruise control/air conditioning all functional, original data sheet and manuals preserved.
Description from the seller
For sale: the legendary Mercedes grand coupe in its prime form — the 560SEC. Originally sold for the US market, imported to Estonia three years ago. The vehicle has undergone an optical restoration, has been fully repainted, and the interior has received new leather upholstery.
Technically, the car is in very good condition, as confirmed by a recent technical inspection. All features — such as the sunroof, cruise control, air conditioning, and electrical equipment — are fully functional. The body and undercarriage are free of rust, and the vehicle has been treated with anti-corrosion wax both underneath and on inner surfaces. Maintenance is up to date: oils and filters have been replaced, including the transmission, which also received a new oil pan.
The vehicle has no leaks, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the rear axle’s self-leveling system (Nivomat) functions properly with no oil leaks. The power steering operates quietly. There are no unusual noises from the front or rear suspension while driving, the brakes have been serviced, and the car does not pull to either side when braking.
The interior has been refurbished with original-tone grey leather. A period-correct radio with new speakers and a subwoofer beneath the rear parcel shelf has been added. If desired, I can also provide the original European-spec Becker Mexico cassette radio. The power-operated antenna is in working order. The windshield has been replaced with a new one, and the car has received new door and window seals on the sides.
The vehicle was registered in the Republic of Estonia on May 24, 2022.
The original data sheet, service book, and user manual have been preserved.
The car can be viewed in Tallinn.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
