Description from the seller
Collection of 8mm film cutting and editing devices – Braun, Alcron, Revue, Perkeo – 1950s/60s
Description
Offered is a comprehensive collection of historical 8mm film and photo editing equipment from the classic era of amateur filmmaking (1950s–1960s).
The set includes several film splicing devices / glue presses (including from Braun, Alcron, and Revue), a film viewer / editor, and additional slide / projection accessories (Perkeo). The devices originate from German production or from the German-speaking region and were intended for cutting, inspecting, editing, and viewing 8mm and 16mm films.
The two electrically operated devices were connected to the power grid – the lighting works, and the devices can be turned on. Further function tests (e.g., film editing) were not carried out, as no film material was available.
The overall condition is very good, with only minor, age-related signs of wear. No visible damage or repairs. The collection comes from an estate clearance or household liquidation.
Partially, original packaging, accessories, and instructions are available, as shown in the photos.
