Old ceremonial pipe ornament - Bamoun - Cameroon

Rare, superb ceremonial pipe ornament/holder from the Bamoun/Bamun people, Foumban, Cameroon, Africa, made of artisanal bronze using the lost wax technique. Dates from the late 19th to early 20th century, possibly earlier. The support features three stylized male faces in a folkloric style, topped with a large openwork globe resembling braiding. A very beautiful, rare, and valuable collector's item due to its history and sacred purpose in ceremonies.

Maximum height of 17.5cm, approximately 12cm in maximum diameter. Very good overall condition, clean and without notable damage, slightly tilted on its base, and obviously missing its pipe. Approximately 1.3kg.
