Three vintage (decor) bowls.
Enamel-coated metal, DRU, Netherlands, 1950s.

These scales were at DRU.
manufactured under the name 'Confetti'
because of the spots on the black exterior of the shell.
Always a cluster of three dots: two red, one yellow.
The two identical trays with lids.
are in good condition considering their age
One scale has a small flame in the edge.
Dimensions: 19 x 23 cm, height including lid 10 cm.
The slightly larger scale without a lid.
has a few small signs of use.
Dimensions: 23 x 28 cm, height 7.5 cm.
All three dials are enamel.
especially also on the inside
in prime condition

The designer is Wim Gilles, one of the first industrial designers in the 1950s.
At the time, also director of the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven.
He worked, among other things, for DRU (Diepenbrock & Reijgers Ulft), a metal processing company.
It also made household attributes alongside stoves and other large objects.
