Japanese photographer Ishigaki Akira Ishigaki has been active as a nude photographer since the 1970s, and his “Strange Fruits”, a collection of his bondage works released in the early 1980s, received a great response overseas. He also held a solo exhibition in New York and was featured in the French photography magazine “PHOTO”, sparking a boom in “bondage photography”. He is also well known for his work with the punk rock band “The Stalin” led by Michiro Endo. This book is a collection of Ishigaki's works published in 1982, and is one of his representative works along with “Strange Fruits. Nobuyoshi Araki once said, “To take a good picture, you have to hook a good woman, take her to a hotel, and take a close-up picture of her. The following is an excerpt from Ryu Murakami's preface: “Do not reflect, do not look for ethics, and live true to your irritation or you will become a mummy. This collection is the embodiment of such frustration.
