Description from the seller
This classic Philips tube radio dates from the post-war period, around the late 1940s to early 1950s, and is a typical example of Philips design from the rebuilding years. The dark gray Bakelite casing, the warm beige speaker cloth, and the illuminated glass tuner scale give the device a calm, timeless appearance that is immediately recognizable as authentic vintage. The rounded shapes and ivory-colored knobs create a friendly yet solid overall look that clearly comes from a different era, both technically and visually.
At the rear, the original ventilation openings, connections, and Philips license sticker are visible, emphasizing the device's original and untouched character. What is shown in the photos is an integral part of the delivery and provides an honest and current view of the device's condition and appearance. For reception, an antenna must be used; otherwise, it cannot operate on the correct frequency.
The device is shipped via UPS, professionally packaged and double insured, including track & trace. Majum Bass & Needle stands for carefully selected vintage audio, accurately described and safely shipped.
