Description from the seller

Dropper bottle also known as a foot sprayer, made of colorless translucent glass.
It is covered on the outside with a partial iridescence of white to brownish color. The interior of the body is also partially covered with a layer of iridescence ranging from silver to brownish color.
Blown glass with a stout globular body, decorated with six vertical ribs created by pinching and topped with carved buttons. The base is adorned with eight small pinched glass protrusions arranged in a circular pattern.
A short cylindrical container equipped with an internal dropper device and formed by folding. It features a wide flared opening with a rolled lip inward and decorated underneath with a concentric turquoise glass thread.

Syrian Production

- Dimension: 125 x 85 x 85 mm

Dating: 3rd - 4th century A.D.

Provenance: Private collection of Mr. W.F. of Munich acquired before the year 2000.

- Ancient glasses and Islam, fig. 341, p. 131

- Condition: Intact, small chip on one of the protrusions.
