■Description

The KATO N-Gauge “ED75 Standard Type” (3028) accurately models the JNR ED75 AC electric locomotive. Introduced in the 1960s, the ED75 operated widely on the Tohoku, Joban, Ou, and Uetsu Lines, hauling both passenger and freight trains, and is known as a versatile and reliable locomotive of the JNR era.

This model captures the compact yet powerful design of the ED75 with detailed roof equipment, pantographs, handrails, and lighting features. It pairs well with a variety of rolling stock, such as JNR passenger cars, 12-series coaches, and freight consists, making it ideal for recreating classic Japanese railway scenes.
