■Description

The KATO N-Gauge “Taki 3000 & Taki 43000 Tank Wagon 3-Car Set” combines two representative Japanese tank wagons used from the JNR era into the JR Freight period. The Taki 3000 was a long-lived general-purpose tank wagon primarily used for petroleum transport, while the Taki 43000 was introduced as a more modern, higher-speed tank wagon and became a mainstay from the late JNR era through JR Freight operations.

This set accurately reproduces the distinctive tank shapes, underframe construction, ladders, and handrails of each type. It is suitable for a wide range of freight train eras and pairs well with locomotives such as the EF65, EF60, and ED75, making it ideal for realistic freight train formations.
