Description from the seller
Brunello di Montalcino – Tenuta Luce, Frescobaldi 2015
Tenuta Luce, part of the Frescobaldi family estates, combines tradition and careful vineyard management in Montalcino. Their Brunello represents a classic interpretation of Sangiovese, shaped by site expression and a restrained, precise winemaking style.
The 2015 vintage was warm and consistent, producing ripe, well-structured wines with depth and harmony. In this Brunello, aromas lean toward dark cherry, black raspberry, sweet spice, and subtle notes of leather and tobacco. The palate is full and well-supported, with firm but polished tannins and a long, balanced finish.
The 2015 vintage offers both immediate appeal and solid aging potential. It is a confident, well-built Brunello that clearly reflects the generosity of the year while maintaining freshness and elegance, making it suitable for cellaring as well as for enjoyment with proper decanting.
James Suckling: 100/100
Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: 94/100
